The Art of Ping Pong 2015

This exhibition is the third of it’s kind, it is a collaboration between Design agency Fivefootsix and some of the world’s most exciting, influential and upcoming artists.

“It was an open brief. We toyed around with narrowing the vision, but what we really like is seeing how everybody approaches it differently,” says Fivefootsix co-founder Algy Batten. Each illustrator was sent a blank paddle and could treat it however they wanted. The paddles have been pulled apart and screen printed, laser cut, hand painted and laser etched.

The Art of Ping Pong is on view from 6-26 November 2015 at London’s KK Outlet with the launch having taken place last night. The online auction will run for one month, ending 30th November, via the Art of Ping Pong website. Their collaborative efforts have resulted in spectacular new works of art and thousands of pounds raised for charity.

All the bespoke bats are currently on auction to raise money for BBC Children in Need, which supports disadvantaged youth in the UK. Be sure to look through their website at all the wonderful creations made by the talented artists and see Luke’s Forrest Gump inspired paddle.
