Game of Thrones Season 6: Hall of Faces Tease

HBO sure know how to tease us with Game of Thrones stills from the set, trailers and cast interviews, keeping us all on the edge of our seats.

A brand new Game of Thrones trailer has appeared online, setting an ominous tone for the forthcoming season 6. The short clip, labelled “Hall of Faces Tease,” features the faces of those who have died in previous seasons on display in the House of Black and White. Including Ned, Catelyn and Robb Stark, along with King Joffrey and Jon Snow. Because they’re trying to keep up with the whole ‘he’s dead’ lie, though the masks could hint at a rebirth and transformation for the character.

If you listen carefully this is what you can hear each character saying:

“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword” – Ned

“I’ve won every battle but I’m losing this war” – Robb

“Show them how it feels to lose what they love” – Catelyn

“Everyone is mine to torment” – Joffrey

“The long night is coming and the dead come with it” – Jon

Ominously, the second half of Jon’s quote about death is accompanied by a close-up of Tyrion’s face. There’s no doubt there will be more teasers and hopefully these will be longer, the anticipation for the new series is too much.

Game of Thrones season 6 premieres 24 April on Sky Atlantic in the UK and HBO in the US.
