The Jungle Book – Out Friday April 15th!

The Jungle Book is out this Friday…..everyone is swooning over all the animals and visual effects. We just can’t wait to see our favourite actor, Bill Murray, transformed into a CGI Bear.

Who else lends their voice in the film, I hear you say?…. Idris Elba voices the Fierce Shere Khan, Ben Kingsley voices Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o voices Raksha, Giancarlo Esposito voices Akela, Scarlett Johansson voices Kaa and Christopher Walken voices the 12ft Orangutan King Louie.

Another reason we’re suuuuper excited, well all the other animals that will be making an appearance. This film is basically reliving our childhood, as by looking at the advert we can see it’s stayed true to the original story plot, which is filling us with wonder. Also as Luke is such a huge fan of all animals and likes to draw as many as possible he can’t wait to see the CGI animals in all their glory. In fact several years ago Luke drew a Jaguar which reminds us a lot of of Bagheera and he has created artwork for nearly every main animal featured in the film. With Bears, Wolves & Tigers all make regular appearances in Luke’s weekly drawings.

If you want to absorb as much information about the new film as possible then take a look at the shots Disney have recently released of The Jungle Book stars posing alongside their animal counterparts. You know as you will never see their faces in the film.

Director, Jon Favreau’s interpretation of the Disney classic has already been blessed with multiple tantalising trailers, and now the actors behind the voices of the likes of Shere Khan, King Louie and Kaa have been snapped sitting next to their respective animals. Though Bill Murray and his gregarious bear Baloo are oddly absent, also take note about how weird / awesome it is that King Louie has Christopher Walken’s eyes?

The film sees Neel Sethi play Mowgli as one of the only humans on screen, against a cast of CGI animals voiced by an impressive line-up of the most impressive Hollywood stars.
